  1. Checklist for Home Business Tax Receipt
    Please include the following with the completed Home Business Tax Receipt (BTR) application, to ensure a smooth and fast process. If any of the following applicable documents are not included, it will create a delay in issuing your BTR.
  2. Required by F.S. 205.023
  3. NOTICE TO APPLICANT: Processing will not be started, and the application will not be officially accepted until all the following items have been completed.
    A. Submittal: The application must be complete.
  5. Are you the property owner?*
  7. Florida statute 205.053 requires that no tax receipt shall be issued unless a Federal Identification Number (FID) or Social Security Number is obtained from the individual to be licensed.
  8. No more than 350 square feet or 20% of the dwelling units total floor area, whichever is the lesser square footage, may be used for the Home Occupation.
  9. Will stock, in-trade goods, wares or merchandise be sold on the premises?*
  10. Will goods be stored or displayed on the premises?*
  11. Will a vehicle which has signs or markings be parked at the premises?*
  12. Will shipments or deliveries of goods be made to the premises?*
