2. Desired Qualifications or Interests

   The City of Oldsmar is seeking applicants who are supportive of public art to serve on its Public Art Task Force and assist in the development of a draft Master Plan for Public Art. 

   Ideal candidates should appreciate and value the roles of arts and culture in the Oldsmar community.

   The Task Force will meet monthly, beginning on Tuesday, November 14 from 5:00 - 6:30 p.m.  Task Force members are expected to attend all meetings.

4. Requirements & Duties

   1. Must be an Oldsmar resident for at least one year OR own a business located within City limits.
   2. Attend monthly meetings.
   3. Actively participate in Task Force discussions.
6. Responsibilities

   1. Contribute to the design of a community survey to solicit views of public art.
   2. Encourage participation in the community survey.
   3. Review survey results with city staff guidance.
   4. Define guiding principles for the Public Art Program.
   5. Draft vision statement for Public Art Program based on survey results.
   6. Identify and prioritize potential sites for public art.
   7. Review drafts of Public Art Master Plan.
   8. Participate in Community Workshop for presentation of Public Art Master Plan.
