4. Can I have both an irrigation system and a hose connection on a reclaimed meter?: Yes, but make sure any hose used with the reclaimed water meter is not used with your drinking water connection.

5. Do I have to have an irrigation system in order to get a reclaimed water meter?: No, you can get a reclaimed water meter with a hose bib connection. Make sure any hose used with the reclaimed water meter is not sued with your drinking water connection.

7. What do I do if there is a problem with my reclaimed water pressure?: If you experience problems with your reclaimed water pressure, call the Water Reclamation Facility at (813) 749-1226.

Possible reclaimed shut off hours: 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm daily.

Some of the benefits include:

Only use reclaimed water for Approved Uses
Reclaimed water can only be connected to an isolated underground irrigation system or a secured hose bib connection
Hose bibs must either be located in a locked box or require a special tool to operate
Hose bibs must be clearly labeled as being nonpotable quality, with the words “Do Not Drink” in both English and Spanish, together with the approved international symbol
By submitting a reclaimed water application, each customer gives prior consent for City personnel to inspect, remove, and secure any or all devices installed by the customer which connect to or control the reclaimed water system.
