Shaping Tomorrow Together Today: Join the Oldsmar Community Visioning Workshop

Be part of a pivotal event on Wednesday, October 4 beginning at 6 pm at Oldsmar’s State Street Center, located at 127 State Street West. The Community Visioning Workshop is your chance to give input to the City Council to shape the future of our city. This is more than just a meeting – it's an opportunity for every resident to play a role in defining Oldsmar's path forward.

As part of the budget process, the City is asking for your input.  Together, we will revisit the City government’s mission and vision statements created in 2013, and give input to the City Council as they are look to create the City’s next priorities.

Led by Will Hampton from Strategic Government Resources, the workshop provides a platform for residents to share insights, dreams, and priorities, kicking off the start of the priority-based budgeting process. The mission, vision, and priorities are pillars that help shape the budgets for FY24-25 and FY25-26, directing resources in line with our collective vision.

The City Council current priorities are as follows, and will remain in place until September 30, 2024:

• Maintain existing infrastructure
• Enhance roadway safety for all modalities including Safe Routes to School
• Renovate and upgrade Harbor Palms Infrastructure
• Update Comprehensive Plan
• Execute Oldsmar Sports Complex improvements
• Expand community engagement
• Build the downtown corridor
