The first 2020 Art Exhibit at Oldsmar City Hall, 100 State St. W., features photographs that capture the spirit of the City. Over 80 entries were received for this juried exhibit and we thank the five judges, four of which are professional photographers in our community and nationwide:

  • Scott Kelby, owner of Kelby-One
  • Douglas Clifford, photographer for the Tampa Bay Times
  • Jeremiah Khokhar, owner of Jeremiah Khokhar Photography & local Instagram groups
  • Mark McGinley, official City photographer
  • Lisa Schmid, City Arts Coordinator

With so many entries, it was a difficult decision for the judges to only pick three finalists.  We congratulate the top three winners on their wonderful photograph submissions:

1st Place - Alicia Thacket, Another Man’s Trash at Oldsmar Flea Market

Alicia Thacker - Anothe rMans Trash

2nd Place – James Smith, One Last Sunset at Mobbly Bayou

James Smith - One Last Sunset

3rd Place - Hector Colon, Oldsmar Street Art outside our City Council Chambers

Hector Colon - Oldsmar Street Art

The submissions received showcase Oldsmar in unique ways. It was decided to add several Honorable Mentions to this exhibit.
