Program General Guidelines
ADA ACCOMMODATION

INSURANCE
While the City of Oldsmar Leisure Services Department is committed to the safety of all its participants, the City of Oldsmar assumes no responsibility for personal injuries or loss of personal property while using City facilities or participating in recreation activities. It is recommended that anyone enrolled in a program or using the facilities in general make provisions to provide adequate coverage with his/her own insurance program.
PHOTO & VIDEO POLICY
Frequently, photos and videos may be taken of people enjoying City facilities, programs, and events. Please be aware that these photos and videos may be used to promote the services and facilities that our City offers and become the City's sole property.
The City of Oldsmar and the media may publish these photographs on air these photos in printed publications and online on the City's website and social media.
AGE REQUIREMENTS
All persons three years and older may obtain a rec card. Children under three may participate by using their parent's rec card. Individuals under 18 years must have their parent or legal guardian present to sign up for their rec card. Proof of age may be required.
LOST/STOLEN REC CARDS
Lost or stolen rec cards should be reported to the Cypress Forest Recreation Center, 813-749-1152. Upon notices, rec cards will be replaced with the same expiration date for a fee of $3, plus tax.
PAYMENTS
All programs must be paid in full at the time of enrollment. We accept check, cash, money order, Visa or MasterCard. Checks should be made payable to the "City of Oldsmar."
PROGRAM CHANGES / CANCELLATIONS
Dates, times and fees are subject to change due to availability of instructors and facility schedules. Programs may be cancelled due to lack of sufficient registration. To confirm schedule, please call 813-749-1152.
REQUESTING A REFUND
A written request for cancellations and refunds must be received five (5) days prior to the start of the program or ten (10) days prior to the start of a camp session. Requests must be submitted in person to the Recreation Supervisor or mailed to:

If approved, refunds may be subject to an administrative or cancellation fee. No refunds will be issued after the program begins, except for medical reasons (see MEDICAL EXEMPTION tab). Rec cards will not be refunded after two weeks of the issue date or if the card has been used. Must include the rec card with the written request. If approved, refunds may be subject to an administrative or cancellation fee.
MEDICAL EXEMPTION
A medical form signed by a doctor stating that the participant is unable to participant for the remainder of the program will entitle the participant to a refund or credit as outlined in REQUEST A REFUND.
INTER-LOCAL AGREEMENT
The Cities of Oldsmar, Safety Harbor, Dunedin and Tarpon Springs have partnered for recreational programming. Oldsmar residents with valid resident recreation cards can participate in programs in those cities at their resident rate. Residents of the partnering cities can participate in Oldsmar recreation activities at the resident rate. Partnerships do not include youth camps. For more information, call 813-749-1155.
