Purchasing

Welcome to the City of Oldsmar's Purchasing Office Home Page. Below you will find valuable information on how to do business with the City.

Ethics:

The City of Oldsmar Purchasing Office adheres to the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP) Code of Ethics.

Vendor Management / Bid Solicitation:

The City partners with Onvia DemandStar for vendor management and Bid/RFP services. Vendors must register with Onvia DemandStar at DemandStar.com to receive Bid, RFP and Quote Solicitations from the City of Oldsmar. DemandStar is a self-maintained vendor registration system. Based on the commodities you register with, you will receive notifications of bidding opportunities.

Vendors can register for the Free Agency Program to receive notifications and to download solicitations for a single agency at no cost. If you would like to subscribe to more than one agency, Onvia DemandStar offers additional programs for a fee.

View a list of current City bidding opportunities or recent bid tabulations.

Bid documents are also available at the Oldsmar City Hall.

The City offers Direct Deposit to vendors. If a vendor is enrolled, would like to enroll or would like to change their banking information for direct deposit, please contact the Purchasing Division.

Public Surplus:

Periodically, the City will dispose of its surplus property by sale to the general public through periodic auctions. Buy surplus goods online through GovDeals and Tampa Machinery Auction.
