  1. OPAL Teen Drama Program

  1. Eco Fun Festival

    Eco Fun Festival is a family-friendly event that features tours of Pinellas County’s Solid Waste Disposal Facility, environmentally-themed exhibitors, equipment demonstrations, electric vehicles, giveaways, food vendors and the ever-popular Touch-a-Truck exhibit in a dedicated green space within the facility. The goal of the Eco Fun Festival is to showcase the many options residents have to make positive environmental changes in their lifestyle, homes and community. These positive changes can add up and have a big impact on preserving our local environment. Pinellas County leads by example and is committed to modeling a “low waste” event. The Eco Fun Festival is structured to divert as much waste as possible from the disposal facility. The City of Oldsmar will have a booth - be sure to stop by!

    February 23, 2018, All Day @ Oldsmar Sports Complex - BMX Track

    Oldsmar has partnered with PSTA (Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority) to offer their FREE Park N Ride service for spectators. The Park N Ride will be located in the east parking lot region of Oldsmar City Hall, 100 State Street West. Limited parking will be available at the Oldsmar Sports Complex; with a daily fee of $10 or $25 for the weekend. Drop off areas for riders and those using paid services (taxi, Uber, Lyft) will be in place alongside the BMX track. Food vendors will be on-site, along with plenty of BMX sponsors. This annual competition has been hosted by Oldsmar BMX since 2002 and has grown with BMX as it developed into an official Olympic sport. Friday’s pre-race will offer USA BMX classes and UCI World Qualifier classes in place of open classes. Sunday will offer the USA Cycling Elite National Championship for US riders competing for a spot on the 2018 USA Team; who will ride for their country at this year’s UCI BMX World Championship.
