Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary function of the Water Division is to provide consistent on-demand, domestic and fire protection water service to the customers in the Oldsmar service area. Monthly reading of water meters is the responsibility of this division.
Water Operations provides for installation, maintenance and replacement of water main and hydrants, operation and maintenance of the pump station and meters. It also administers the Health Department procedures for distribution of the water supply to the City and performs meter reading functions. Construction of new and replacement water mains and service lines is performed by water operations personnel.
